Artist Statement:
After High school the first thing I wanted to do with my life was join the Army, but I opted for a much more dangerous and demanding undertaking, I went to art school. I’ve always had a love of aircraft so it was natural while I was studying at The Art Institute of Washington I refine my polygonal craftsmanship. I would be honored to be employed modeling aircraft but I am more than capable of creating any type of hard surface objects.
When I model I take a methodical approach to my subject.
Functionality is always my top priority as I deconstruct my subject, analyze it,
and produce a clear and uniformed model. The theme of my presentation is
combat. From an intergalactic aircraft carrier to the greatest cyborg-police
officer how has never lived. I present to you the eternal struggle, for it is
the fight that keeps us ready and on top.
