Focus Piece Demo
The big ticket item for me in this movie was the particle effects used for Gru's Freeze Ray. One of the biggest challenges I'm faced with is the ability to create highly elaborate particles to have the look and appeal that I've seen in numerous shows and movies. I want to be able to make the actual onomatopoeia effects that are used in videogames and movies alike.

Artist Statement
I
have, for a long time, been searching for some form of direction in my life.
Whether it was going to Prince George's Community College to expand my
education or joining the United States Navy to truly discover what I was
capable of. I wanted something more for myself and for those that I cherish and
hold dear. Throughout the search of my potential there was one constant skill
being used....... drawing.
I
decided to pursue Motion Graphics and Special Effects because I wanted to take
my drawing abilities and creativity to the next level. I plan on using my new
found skills to work for news stations and to also push my own original works
to the public to make my mark in the world.
